Create a project

1. Open the projects area in the chat sidebar and create a project.
2. Give it a specific name and describe its purpose.
3. Add persistent instructions, such as the audience or preferred response format.
4. Create conversations within the project and return to them from its conversation list.

Suitable uses

• Study plans, writing projects and product development.
• Topics discussed across several days or weeks.
• Work that benefits from consistent background and response instructions.

Keep the context current

Use project instructions for stable background and each message for temporary requirements. Update goals as they change. A project does not guarantee that every detail from every previous conversation will appear in an answer.
